Title: Chainsaw Maintenance & Safety
Description: This one-day course covers maintenance activities that are necessary prior to operating a chainsaw. Although this course focuses more on chainsaw maintenance than operation, there will be some wood cutting in the afternoon (weather permitting). Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operating procedures will also be emphasized.
Audience: This course is applicable to local agency employees who may be working on or using a chainsaw in their line of work.
