SignCAD is a stand-alone Windows application that helps design traffic signs. It is equipped with several features which include federal and state standards for text, route markers, and arrows and panels. In addition, SignCAD can support multiple state standards and thus may be ideal for state DOT's and others who design rectangular traffic signs. Moreover, SignCAD runs on any machine running Windows and can be used on both single computers and network installations. The program has a full library of MUTCD standard signs, including the new Federal Millennium signs, and introduces an option to interface directly with SignTRACK, an inventory and asset management program. The program also features new integrated video tutorials, as well as Web-based training and technical support.
Intended Use: SignCAD is used by traffic engineers and sign shops to design traffic signs.
