Title: Avoiding Utility Delays: What Works
Abstract: Utility related problems are a leading cause of delays for high construction projects, and this has been compounded with the recent downsizing and mergers on the part of utilities. The FHWA and the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials' Highway Subcommittees on Construction and Right-of-Way and Utilities have created a video outlining ways in which state transportation departments and utility engineers can reduce utility related disruptions.
