Practice Provision: Flagger certification and training
Description:
California requires flaggers to be trained, but they do not require them to be certified.
There are no approved programs. Flaggers must be trained in the principles that are spelled out in the California Code of Regulations - Construction Safety Orders (see the web site below).
The training programs do not need to be certified in California.
