Title: Registration Now Open: 2007 National Traffic Management & Work Zone Safety Conference
Abstract: Registration is open at www.workzonesafety.org for the premier roadway safety event of 2007-the National Traffic Management & Work Zone Safety Conference, scheduled October 9-12 in south Florida at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center. The event will connect national transportation leaders with people of all levels of government and private industry to discuss the challenges and cutting-edge solutions to improve the safe movement of traffic in various roadway conditions. Sessions will cover nighttime construction, preventing run-overs and back-overs, traffic flow and congestion management, and law enforcement in work zones. A site visit to the Broward County Traffic Control Center will also be included. The National Traffic Management & Work Zone Safety Conference is also being held in conjunction with Intertraffic North America (www.northamerica.intertraffic.com), the world's most comprehensive and influential trade show brand for the transportation infrastructure, traffic management, traffic safety and parking industries.
